Rivers Inlet - Good Hope Sport Fishing
The Good Hope Salmon Fishing Lodge sits midway up the coast of British Columbia in Rivers Inlet - a stroke of geographical luck. Rivers Inlet is 40 isolated miles of rugged beauty carved out of our Coastal Mountains by ancient glaciers whose emerald green runoff meets the nutrient rich Pacific to create salmon fishing heaven. Our guests have often told us we have the best fishing lodge in BC!
Our unique mid-Inlet location (and the finest fleet of boats on the coast) allows guests to enjoy the bounty and angling variety of two distinct worlds – protected Inlet and the beckoning ocean. All five Pacific salmon are found in Rivers Inlet: Chinook (King), Coho (Silver), Pink, Chum and Sockeye. Bottom fish like ling cod, rock fish and halibut also thrive here, providing challenging alternatives to salmon.
Good Hope guests may fish in and around Good Hope Bay, at the "Head" of the Inlet or at the mouth of the Inlet in Fitz Hugh Sound which marks the southern start of the fabled BC Inside Passage. This entire area is the home and feeding grounds of giant Rivers Inlet Salmon. Many of which will return to one of three rivers at the head of the Inlet. Other salmon in the area are usually migrating southbound fish, holding just outside the Inlet until the tides draw them south. You really can’t pick a bad spot to try your luck (or apply your skill).
If you're looking for a fabulous BC fishing lodge - we're the place to be!
